Wonderful sandwiches and personalized attitude to each customer! It is quick and small and we enjoy eating there. It is the friendliest place in South Tampa.

I recently came here for lunch with coworkers and was excited for the visit because I've been eyeing it for a while. It is an old-school, family-owned German deli with all the typical German meats, sandwiches, potato salad, etc. And as a fun surprise, they also make Cuban sandwiches! lol I do want to add that you should not come here in a rush. Orders are made fresh, many times down to slicing the meat for your sandwich. It does take time, seemingly even if you get a cold sandwich vs hot one. But it's worth the wait! Just set your expectations and do not try to come here when you're on a time crunch! We were all very happy with our sammies and the prices were decent too! The deli itself is quite old, and it feels a bit like you time traveled or somehow teleported to somewhere rural once you walk inside. There are pictures of the family/staff from years past as well as old newspaper clippings featuring the deli. They also sell tons of German candies, chocolates, and other goodies! Can't forget the German beers! So even if you're not hungry now, stop in and look around. You will probably find some unique German snacks, beers, and other delights to take home.

This little deli, has been around Tampa since 1952 . It may not look much from the outside, but once you step inside, it's all things German. Walk up to the counter, decide if you want a hot or cold sandwich, large or small, a side, or any of their other amazing foods. I'm sure you'll be greeted friendly at the counter- as they ask you what you'd like to order. After you place your order, you can pick a table, and choose a drink from the cooler. Then, either have a seat and relax until your sandwich is ready or walk around and check out all of the German goodies they sell. Breads, cookies, beer, candies... so many things!!! It's truly a great Deli- always very tasty- definitely a must try if you have not.

Three of us stopped in for lunch (dine in) on a Saturday. They were pretty busy at the time but managed to take care of us fairly quickly. It's really more of a deli than a sit-down place to eat, but there are about 6 or so simple tables there. They have a wide variety of food (and great beers!!) to buy there. I ordered up the Bratwurst Reuben, and I was not disappointed. It came out piping hot and was delicious. Very filling! I'd certainly stop in again!

Schiller's feels like family! The food is delicious, and service impeccable and you can always count on a smile from Elizabeth! If you want a taste of Germany, look no further than Schiller's!

Great food; friendly staff. Tasty German potato salad. Service isn't fast, but it takes time to slice meat and cheeses fresh for each sandwich. Lots of European delicacies. Unfortunately, the cafe table and chairs are in poor condition, and I don't think the floor has been washed in a very long time. The prep area, however, is clean and they practice clean food prep guidelines (gloves, washing hands, etc.) The staff is small and probably a bit overwhelmed ... but they definitely need new tables and chairs and a regular cleaning service.

What I really like; lots of German (and other European) goodies that can be purchased. From your mustard, candied to jams. Now the sandwiches are also great. One of the drawbacks - the service is slower and it takes time to get your order. But then it's a true delight. The feel inside is nothing special though.

This is as authentic a German Deli as you will find in Florida. It serves a large number of sandwiches and side items. You can even get a platter of bratwurst or knackwurst with sides. There is a large selection of cold drinks and beer to have with your meal. I had the #18 Reuben-Yorker on grilled rye. It is filled with pastrami, corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss, cole slaw , and havarti cheese.. it was delicious. You can choose from several kinds of breads I had the regular size, which was more than enough. The super size is for big eaters. They have several sides such as potato salad, cole slaw, pickles etc. Part of the deli has a few tables and chairs to eat there. The other section is a small grocery of German items. They have German sausages, beers, packaged items such as candy, cookies, coffee, baked goods and some items I didn't recognize. They have their own parking lot.

Little slice of heaven! Some of the world's best beers available by the bottle for on-premise consumption. Great menu of fresh sandwiches. Deli meats, cheeses, beers, mustards, curry ketchups, and accoutrements available as well. This is a must stop if you are a German food and beverage fan in Tampa. Or if not, stop in for some of the best sandwiches in town! Easy parking. Friendly staff. Do it!!
